Privacy & Data
We handle family records, so we describe exactly what happens to them. We do not claim any system is completely secure; we describe the protections that are actually in place.
What data is stored
Your account email and name, your family name and country, the documents you upload, information read from those documents, the activities you create, comments, notification preferences and subscription records.
Where it is stored
Documents are held in private cloud storage. Records are held in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the Asia Pacific (Seoul) region, regardless of whether your family is in India, the USA or the UK. Data is encrypted in transit, and encrypted at rest where the underlying infrastructure supports it. If your family requires storage in a specific country, contact us before uploading sensitive records.
Who operates the infrastructure
Family Hub Connect runs on managed cloud infrastructure provided through Lovable Cloud. Document understanding is performed by an AI model provider that receives the document content for the duration of the request only.
Who can access family information
Only active members of your family. Each family's records are isolated at the database level, and file links are private, short-lived and generated per request. Family Admins can manage members, documents, activities and billing.
What AI does and does not do
AI reads documents to suggest dates, amounts and follow-up actions. Every suggestion is labelled 'AI Suggested' and must be confirmed by a person. AI never makes medical diagnoses, financial decisions, payments or commitments on your behalf.
Data retention
Records are kept while your family account is active. Deleted documents and activities are removed from the live system. Audit history is retained so admins can see who changed what.
Data export
Family Admins can export the family's records as a structured JSON file from Settings. Document files can be downloaded individually from each document page.
Data deletion
You can delete individual documents and activities at any time. A Family Admin can delete the entire family, which removes its documents, activities and related records.
